“Play Day”, hosted on
campus at UCI, introduces a local philanthropic
organization to the sixteen Greek organizations on
campus that will raise funds to support it during
Songfest. This year, Team Kids will receive the
proceeds from Songfest, where college students
perform renditions of Broadway plays. “Play Day”
will serve to connect the youth Team Kids supports
to mentoring opportunities from college students,
while giving them an opportunity to “play” on
campus at the UCI student run carnival. “Play Day”
is the most visible event held on campus to promote
Songfest.
