Do I have to register on the Team Kids website AND through Disney’s “Give a Day Get A Day” website to be eligible to get a free ticket to Disneyland for my service?YES. Follow the instructions on www.teamkids.org Please note that Team Kids needs to know when and where your stand is located and names of all participants. The Disney registration is a multi-step process; please follow all instructions on Disney’s website too.

Where do the LemonAID stand proceeds go?100% of the proceeds from Team Kids Lemon Aid stands will honor Dr. King’s teachings of equality and nonviolence by benefiting the Orange County Human Relations Youth Programs. The OC Human Relations Council is a non-profit agency whose mission is to foster mutual understanding among residents and eliminate prejudice, intolerance and discrimination in order to make Orange County a better place for all people to live, work and do business.

Does our entire group need to attend the closing ceremony on MLK Day?We encourage all participants to join us at City Hall to turn in proceeds and attend the MLK Celebration. This is a powerful opportunity for kids to see the impact they have when they help others… you won’t want to miss it!
The closing ceremony will include testimony from youth leaders, music, and inspirational speakers including Irvine’s Mayor Sukhee Kang and Irvine Unified School Board Member Dr. Gavin Huntley-Fenner.
Be there early for 5:00-6:00pm presentation on MLK Day, January 18, 2010, at Irvine City Hall, 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine, CA 92606. -
