This year Team Kids celebrated our 10th Anniversary of empowering youth in service. Despite a difficult economy, this was a record-breaking year for Team Kids, with more children served, and more money raised by those children for other charities than in any prior year.

The accomplishments of our young Team Kids leaders are extraordinary. In the 2010-11 school year alone:

• Team Kids inspired more than 8,000 young volunteers in schools through the Team Kids Challenge. Those children raised and donated over $82,000 to help others in need, and 19 charities benefited.
• Following the disastrous earthquake and tsunami in Japan, over 800 kids and families raised more than $40,000 in just 20 days by hosting Team Kids LemonAID Stands for the America Red Cross Japan Relief.
• Between our flagship programs, LemonAID store, special events and fundraising efforts, Team Kids has mobilized over 2000 volunteers this past year, generating over 12,000 volunteer hours.
